Calling serivces

You can replace the usual, generic dial tone with your favourite music by the hottest artists. Using T-Mobile's Fun Dial Tune service, subscribers can decide what their callers hear when calling, and can customise this service even further by setting different tunes for different call numbers. It can be useful for companies both small and large and allows for the setting of tunes via SMS as well.

Although similar to the traditional answering machine, voicemail offers much more. Callers can leave you a message when you are:

• unable to take their call
• outside the coverage area
• already on the phone talking to someone else

Messages left on the voicemail can be retrieved anytime (even from a landline phone) and can also be saved or deleted (you can only store a certain number of messages on your voicemail). Using a secret code ensures protection against unauthorised access.

The security code may be deactivated only upon your request and when retrieving your messages from a phone with your own SIM card. If you call another T-Mobile subscriber and your call is taken by their voicemail, an audio warning is played to remind you of the start of the chargeable call.

Subscribe for the Voicemail Package and, for a monthly fee, get unlimited voicemail calls free of charge, regardless of the peak-period voicemail rates defined for your plan. Moreover, the Voicemail Package also includes call notification, so you can receive an SMS on each call missed, indicating the calling party's number.

You can enable and disable this service:

This service enables you to divert your incoming calls either to another mobile number or straight to your voicemail. It may be useful if you do not wish to take calls, are unavailable or talking to someone else. Calls can be forwarded to any phone number or your voicemail.

When travelling outside Hungary, it is advisable to turn call forwarding off, as in such cases it is regarded as taking the incoming call, therefore charges may apply.

You will receive a notification if:

• your phone was switched off
• your line was busy
• you were unavailable
• your voicemail has not been activated or
• the calling party did not leave a message.

The calling party's number - or name, if already stored in your phone - will appear as the sender of the notification SMS. Once your phone becomes available, our system can send out notifications on calls missed during the last 48-hour period of unavailability. Notification messages may only be delivered to a phone with sufficient memory.

Notifications on a maximum of 20 missed calls are be delivered as soon as the phone is switched off and becomes available.

This service is available within Hungary to Domino subscribers with a prepaid balance of less than one minute of talk time. When your balance has been depleted and you are calling another T-Mobile subscriber, you will hear the following announcement in Hungarian:

"Your balance does not cover the charge of the initiated call, please recharge your account. If you request a call back with an SMS sent on your behalf, please press #".

By pressing the # key, the system sends an automatic SMS to the called party, with the sender shown as the party requesting the call back.

In the case of call back request SMS messages, delivery notifications are unavailable and message delivery may take up to one hour. That is, should the phone of the called party remain unavailable for more than one hour, the SMS will not be delivered.

Call Barring enables you to bar incoming or outgoing calls - or certain types thereof - on your mobile phone.

Barring incoming calls
Barring incoming calls may become necessary if, during your stay abroad, you do not wish to receive calls because of the related costs (the calling party is still subject to the same domestic rates whereas international roaming charges are applied to you).

Barring outgoing calls
Barring outgoing international calls may be a rational solution if you lend your phone to somebody. When you only want to provide availability (e.g. for an employee) without the possibility of making calls, you can even bar all outgoing calls.

More sophisticated phones come with a feature allowing their users to receive a call even during another call (Call Holding) or to initiate another call (Call Waiting).

If the called party is already in a conversation, the calling party hears a beep during the ringing tone, based on which he can decide whether to wait or call back later. If the Call Holding service has been activated for the called party, the call will not be taken directly to the voicemail.

In case of Call holding or Call Waiting, the party put on hold will hear the dial tone, until his call is taken back.

This service enables your phone to display the calling party's number, simultaneously with the ringtone, assuming that:

• you subscribe for the service
• the operator of the calling party does not restrict displaying the calling number
• the calling party does not restrict calling party identification.

Using this service - and with an appropriately enabled phone - the traditional, two-party calls can be extended by involving up to five partners. Important notice: when dialling five numbers, you are subject to the separate charges of all five calls.

Both monthly-plan and prepaid customers of T-Mobile can use their mobile phones in special locations that include ships and airplanes, through the networks of satellite, maritime or on-air service providers. Mobile telephone service, therefore, is also available in locations without traditional terrestrial GSM or 3G coverage. Satellite, maritime or on-air roaming zones are distinguished from other roaming areas in terms of charges, coverage and terms and conditions of use.

Calls made or received via these networks are not related to the customer's geographical location, nor are they subject to the favourable rates of the European Union (given the fact that the pertaining EU regulation is not applicable to the service providers in question).

Need to know the accurate time but your watch has stopped? Dial 180 from a T-Mobile number and receive the accurate time in both Hungarian and English (time is announced twice in Hungarian, followed by the English version). Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Somewhat similar to Voicemail, the PostMaster service offers you more. If, for some reason, you are unavailable, callers can leave you messages just like on a Voicemail; it is the retrieval and the wide range of additional settings and functions - including reply, forwarding, sending a message, marking as urgent or confidential, and requesting notification upon receipt - that this service differs in. When forwarding a message, the notification time can also be set and, upon request, the PostMaster can notify you about your messages by giving you a call.

When subscribing at T-Mobile (or anytime thereafter), you can pick any number from a list of available telephone numbers, against a one-time fee.
